December 13, 2000 (This day in history)
Al Gore Concedes to George W. Bush
In his own words:
"Just moments ago, I spoke with George W. Bush and congratulated him on becoming the 43rd president of the United States, and I promised him that I wouldn't call him back this time."
What a year it has been!
Thank goodness we have a real President to lead us through these difficult times. Here's to George W. Bush!

C'mon Freepers. There's a lot we can raise our glasses to this year:
To the end of Clintonism
To the defeat of the Taliban regime
To the greatest President of the Twenty-first Century
To the best First Lady since her mother-in-law
...Feel free to add your own, and join us on Thursday

I'm in.....I have thanked God in my prayers every night that we finally have a man like George W. in the Whitehouse....can you imagine what the world would be like right now if Gore were there?

I shudder to think what might have been if things had gone differently last year at this time.
God has indeed been watching over America.
To those Freepers who were working overtime to see that the Democrats did not hijack the election, this one's for you too!

Thanks for the ping, John.
I'll be joining you in that toast and may I suggest we get down on our knees to Thank God and to ask that He protect, guide and sustain President George W. Bush.
