In need of prayers for a friend.

A young husband, daddy, doctor will undergo a serious sinus surgery, in early December. Upon completion, chemotherapy and radiation. This will be the third surgery this year. Cannot say enough nice things about this young family - generous, kind, loving. God has blessed them and their hope is in the Lord. I'll let him know of your prayers in his time of need.

He has had to close his practice and prepare for caring for himself. The anxiety and planning takes it toll and he will need these prayers for strength to handle things as they come.

This is so hard. My parents had a dentist friend that this happened to, he was forced to close his practice.
Prayers will be said for him, count on it.

Dr. Rick's mother in law reports they have received over 200 cards with prayers. I am sending them this FR link and your prayers. FYI - he's a baby delivery doc - just the best!

This is the message that was sent from his pastor Kyle, after returning from KU Med Center early this morning.

"This is the latest news I had before leaving KC, about 11 P.M. last night... they were just ready to bring Rick from surgery - sounds like the surgery went well and they were able to get all the cancer. Surgery took over 10 hours. Praise the Lord!!"
