Bush Country, America
Posted on 11/19/2001 7:22:10 AM PST by Tumbleweed_Connection
Like Reagan, Bush has proven himself to be the leader of his country.
Unlike Clinton, Bush caters not to either personal or party gain, rather to the welfare of the nation.
Liberal presidential candidates like J Kerry and Biden, as well as conservative prospect McCain, and Daschle et al (liberals and media), continue to forge a cause against the common welfare of those they were elected to represent, with the underlining theme being achieving political supremacy at any cost.
Does public education still incorporate WWII in history? Do children realize what we did to win? Do adults? And what about the media or is it simply lying once again? Realize it only required 3 weeks after the 9/11 surprise attack to put a war effort in place half-way across the world. Some 3 weeks later we had won phase 1! And how many people realize what shambles our military is actually in not to mention the reasons delaying funding for rebuilding?
So back to the "Bush is an idiot", "Cant fight during Ramadan", "We need 100,000 ground troops", "Food drop problems", Major civilian casualties", "New government problems"
WHAT ABOUT THE DAMN VICTORY?

"It's the economy, stupid."

People certainly are not reading it (and we realize there is no median by which the conservatives can tell anyone) so it must be either Rush or the internet (which the liberals disdain), but Clinton's economic plans ended in September.

You know, if you are so smart why aren't YOU President of the United States?
By the way, the military is still working on a shoestring, although there has been increased spending in the last few months. Why do you think we are waiting to take on Iraq? Hint...it's not just because we are looking for the evidence.

Yeah its too bad we weren't able to stuff more ballots in Gore's Box. Then we Commies would be able to Tax ourselves (oops everyone else) into prosperity while letting Arab Terrorists kill off as many capitalist possible. SARCASM OFF Hey Northman you socialist disruptor. Be glad we allow free speach here. As opposed to sites for the Democrat Party (oops I mean communist party).

We must each be individually vigilant. My granddaughter (age 9) came home from school after 9/11 thinking we had done something to the terrorists first. She was talking about the strikes on Afghanistan after the US Embassies had been hit. Of course, her teacher had not told her about the Embassies. So I sat down and gave her a history lesson to put the current events in the proper perspective. The next generation will not know unless we tell them. My dad is a WWII vet. Every day I feel the responsibility to pass on to my children and my granddaughter the debt we owe to my father's generation. If we don't...they will have fought and died in vain. And we will deserve the world we get then.

I bet the Taliban is thankful that he didn't have to deal with an American military that was effective and efficient."...phase 1."
Meanwhile, George II pays back his political investors with more tax cuts and government cash while the economy continues to tank.
Why don't you want corporate America to receiving refunds, let alone taxpayers? As far as "his political investors" are concerned, besides all who contributed to his election, name them.

Bush graduated from Harvard Business School. Gore couldn't cut the rigourous curriculum of Vanderbilt Divinity School. Please spare us the "Bush is stupid" nonsense; it merely proves how stupid Gore's shills continue to be.

What would this country be if the people were smeared with front page headline TRUTH every day?
To: Willie Green
If we don't win the war against terrorism you won't have to worry about the economy. You will be too busy living in a destroyed nation and learning what it means to be reduced to the lowest common denomiator...ie a third world country presided over by religious zealots. Get with the program. Clintonian bumper stickers are passe.

I understand it takes democrats a little longer to understand things. They are very reluctant to defend themselves other than through repetition. Remember Phase 1 will in their minds never be considered a victory for all of the above unsubstantiated reasons. Like the never to be settled presidential vote, the fact that America could have ended this a few days earlier with 100,000 ground troops, repetition and uncertainty of the obvious facts is their only defense. In otherwords they will lie 'till they die.

The liberal spin in the public schools is unbelievable, even in the South. I don't know whether it is deliberate or the result of this generation of teachers having been raised in public schools themselves and they just don't know any better. Either way the result is disasterous. I don't know what happens to the children whose parents don't take the time or have the time to straighten all the garbage out before the children get indoctrinated.

but Clinton's economic plans ended in September. No, Klintoon signed NAFTA. And prior to 9/11, Dubya was more adamament about granting unchecked total access to our highways to unsafe Mexican trucks than h is committed to drilling in ANWR. Anybody opposed to this on the basis of safety, economics, or lax restrictions on the illicit drug trade or illegal immigration was denounced by the bushbots as being "racist". In the wake of 9/11, Dubya has toned down the rhetoric, but continues to pursue these policies through emissaries: Top Democrats Politick Through Rural Mexico
Furthermore, Paul O'Neil's buddies continue the Klintonian support of China at the continued risk of jeopardizing U.S. national security:
Alcoa, Chalco alliance to expand China output
Alcoa Cuts 6,500 Jobs, closes Pennsylvania Plant
The Republicrats are back in the business of selling out our nation.
Dubya = Klintoon

Grownups? Bush just signed a bill creating 28,000 Federal Jobs.
Bush already signed a bill turning over my tax dollars to the Airlines Board of Directors.
Yeah, start telling me how we have the new shrinking Government that Republicans stand for?
To: Willie Green
Do you even have a clue what you are talking about?
You start with this premise Clinton's economic plans ended in September. and then this is your answer continued risk of jeopardizing U.S. national security: are you talking about the economy or national security or do you just want to complain...everything is bad, nothing is good...I am a whiner..look at me...??????? Sorry we don't have the time or patience to pander to your childish, democratic ramblings....

Sounds like you are whining also, by your definition.
Cannot make a case point by point?
You cannot best Willie by just putting a label on him.
How about trying a debate on the points?
