Wearing their school uniforms, which include a white head scarf, Marlotte Hollis, 12, and Jumanah Abdur-Raheem, 13, stood before their classmates to lead prayers one recent morning. Holding out their hands, palms upward, they recited the Koran's opening verse, the Fatihah. First in Arabic, then in English.

Afterward, the 35 students faced the U.S. flag hanging in a corner and recited the Pledge of Allegiance. "One nation under Allah, indivisible, with justice and liberty for all, Inshallah," which means, "God willing."

Thank you!

Incredibly, schools throughout the nation, as in past years, are providing special rooms for Muslim students to pray during school hours for the entire month of Ramadan, while Christian children are fighting the ACLU just to get a moment of silence. In some schools, there are even special classes held by Muslim students to explain to Christian children what Islam is. This is no less than indoctrination.

All Christian parents are asking for is equal justice in our public schools for their children. Christian parents should check with their public schools to see if their public schools are providing such prayer rooms for Muslims students. If so, they should then demand that Christian children should be given the same right to pray with other Christian children in a special room provided for them to begin each day with a Christian prayer. If the school does not comply with their request, the school should be charged with discrimination against Christian children.

It appears that in public schools, "Separation of Church and State" is meant only for Christian students.

The article says, "They compose about 25 percent of the U.S. Muslim population, whose size is estimated to range anywhere from 3 million to 7 million."

That's a big spread, from between 3 million to 7 million. Most Muslim Americans when they appear on TV or in print, give the statistic of between 6 and 7 million. However, several reports have discredited that estimate and have stated that the numbers are between 1 to 2 million. Also, the majority of Arabs in this country are Arab Christians who have fled from persecution under Islamic governments. Arab Christians make up over 80% of the Arabs in this country but unfortunately for them, they are also being looked upon as terrorists. As Ann Coulter wrote in one of her commentaries, "All Muslims are not terrorists, but all the terrorists have been Muslims."
