SACRAMENTO -- The consulting firm advising the state on electricity purchases recommended that the state buy about $35 billion in power from private companies the consultant also represented.

Navigant Consulting Co.'s clients included Dynegy, Calpine Corp., Mirant Corp., Sempra Energy and Williams Energy. All have signed long-term power contracts with California since January, when Navigant was hired as a consultant for the state's power-buying agency.

Is it true that the Mafia has asked Gray Davis and the State of California to provide consulting services on several complex scams that they are trying to put together?

No!

This article is from Wednesday and was mentioned in the article from the Register today where the news was that the contract was cancelled!

I hadn't posted because of time conflicts and then kind of forgot about it until today's article jogged my memory!

You would think this kind of crap would be enough to totally knock Davis out of any chance to win the 2002 election!

Ernest posted, ""You would think this kind of crap would be enough to totally knock Davis out of any chance to win the 2002 election!"

Here is why it hasn't knocked him out:

1. About 20% to 30% of Kali's voters are rock hard demonicRats. They will vote for their candidate regardless if he raped and killed Sister Terressa. Criminal behavior bonds them even closer, look at Clintoon/Goron with this cult core.

2. About 8 to 10 million voters are the new comers and in many cases illegal voters. They will vote demonicRat regardless! They can't read or speak English, and their educational levels are about 3-5 years. This stuff means nothing to them!

3. Davis's money in his re election chest can buy some much lies and advertising to bury the truth.

4. Because of #3, the tv stations and newspapers, which are all ready left wing pr arms for Davis, really need that money. They are being killed with the lack of ad $'s due to our recession and conservatives pulling away from them. So they will run their ads, support him and spike the really bad news!

5. Because of #4, we will never see the tv stations and newspapers really go after Davis to hammer home what a criminal he really is. If a repubie even thought about doing this, he would be hounded out of office by these same mediots who turn deaf and blind when it comes to Davis! Socialism/fascism needs the blind support of the mediots to stay in power. They have that blind support!

So unless Davis gets linked to something really terrible like being OBL's American girl friend, I see Davis being re elected.

We are going to a multiple birthday party tonight (3 people). There will be at least 50 people there. Many are teachers or work for a city/county or state government. Besides me, there will be no one even aware of what Davis has done here. They get their news from the Chronicle, Santa Rosa Democrat and the local left wing tv stations! If I mention this latest data, they will just look at me and move away! When we had blackouts, it easy to get people's attention to discuss Davis. Now that is an ancient memory in most people's mind. If they still have a job and electricity, they could care less. Davis will campaign that he saved us from blackouts and the high electric bills forced on us by the Texas power companies! Their sheeple will believe him!
