KING COUNTY, WA - On November 15th, Public Health - Seattle & King County will be joined by the American Cancer Society, the Seattle Lesbian Cancer Project, The Pink Zone, the American Lung Association, Gay City Health Project, Stonewall, Broadway Market and Dilettante Chocolates in promoting the Gay American Smokeout. The goal is to reduce the high smoking rate among gay men, lesbians, bisexual and transgendered people since these populations have twice the smoking rates compared to the general population.

These people are busy giving each other AID's and they worry about the health effects of smoking??

Khepera, I agree with most of your posts so don't take this criticism personally, but, I disagree with the above part of what you said.
I think we should treat them with kindness, not shun them. I don't think they will logically be our best friends, but we should treat them with the same respect we'd show our friend caught in adultery, our child who is struggling with lying, our relative getting a divorce, our neighbor who lives a promiscuous life, a prisoner we visit in jail through ministry, etc...
It's an emotional issue for me too. I think they (not all, but as a group) target children. That I do not respect and that I will not be kind about. Normally such a thing is illegal but they get around that, amazingly. But, as individuals, they do not all target children and they need human kindness, especially from people like us, just like everyone else. It is feasible that they entered their lifestyle as a result of human need....lacking love and affection from a particular gendered parent, or, through abuse.
They will answer to their Maker someday, as we all will, but free will was His design. We need to charm, persuade, and love people towards right thinking (and we ourselves have things to work on), especially on this issue when our entire culture is morally challenged.
Well you work on them, but speak for yourself. I'm glad I'm not part of your "morally challenged" crowd. One of the first things you need to work on is getting rid of you weasel language, so people know what you're talking about. Everyone is not immoral.
Beware the man who makes broad moral judgments.

I think you know where I’m going with this.
Not a bad idea, but not here. Someplace like Iraq would be good. Maybe we can word out a deal.
We could form a new federal agency the Buggering Butt Busters or the triple Bs.
With good use of profiling and plenty of search entry and stop and search powers it wont take long to round them all up.
We could also encourage people to denounce hidden Gays with small cash rewards.
I bet the Government wont mind responding to this if enough of us ask for it, when have they ever said no to increasing their powers, and this time its for a good cause the sake of the children.
