How could her body be her own, whe she was created by God and given a soul?

Sorry, we all belong to God, body, mind, spirit and soul.

Cruise report:

The boat left at about 7:15 from 23rd Street and went around the tip of Manhattan, going past the WTC site from two sides, south and west. It went up the Hudson a ways, and then turned back and went very close to the Statue of Liberty, then back to the pier, at about 10:30.

Father Pavone led us in a beautiful prayer. He is going to be given light parish service so that he can continue his work with Priests for Life. Maggie Gallagher spoke, about the root of all our problems being those who don't believe in having absolute moral values. Norma McCorvey gave a lovely informal talk about how she got from being Jane Roe to where she is now, a committed Christian and a worker in the pro-life cause.

Chris Slattery also spoke and told of the financial straits the organization is in right now. He introduced his wife, Eileen, and the directors of the five crisis-pregnancy centers.

The band played patriotic songs. Lyric sheets were handed around and we all sang a few songs.

There were 3 freeper contributors there, and 2 lurkers, also at our table. We snagged a table close to the bar and the food and not too close to the music!

It was a lovely evening, mild enough to go up on deck for a while. I don't think any pictures were taken by anyone. Thanks to everyone for your support and good wishes.

Sounds like the cruise went well? I hope the turnout was good.

Well now, that is wonderful news. Has this been officially announced or has anyone heard more on this? Will he still head of PFL, or just help out? And what are the lottery numbers for next Wednesday?

(bumps from a previous thread on Fr. Pavone).

I asked him, and that's what he said. I didn't think to ask him if he would still be head of it. He was just very reassuring that its work would be going forward just as before. He didn't announce this to the whole cruise, but I'm sure it must be known by now or he wouldn't have said it.

It surely is her body, but when she "leases out" that special "apartment" to a growing child, for a VERY short portion of her entire life ... that lease is binding upon her ... for as long as necessary, until vacated naturally.

What a touching and thrilling cruise ... to commemorate the heroes who gave their lives ... and those tiniest of "heroes" who are never given a thought -- or a chance!
