My first FReep.
It was a cause that we FReepers can represent wholeheartedly.
Their call for peace was more a subversive socialist movement than a peace rally. We could not figure them out. They even raised a Palestinian flag. So go figure?
A few of them were able and willing to dialogue. They talked about the ineffectiveness of bombing. I countered that we should leave the military strategy to those with the degrees in it. But most were not anywhere near that intelligent and it was pretty obvious.
One of their crazys shouted something nonsensical at us, "God can only bless one nation at a time!" Don't ask me what he meant. Someone from our side shouted back, "Your god is too small!"
We had a lot of people, who just happened to be passing by, stop and lend their support to our patriotic voice. One young woman quickly made her own sign from materials that Little Bill had on hand and then proudly stood with us. That's always fun to turn around and see your numbers have grown.
The demonstration/"peace" rally was just down the street from a homeless veterans shelter so as soon as they heard about it, a bunch of them came up to join us.
The weather was great for a FReep. What fun!!!

My first official FReep!!

I really want to know if the "speakers" were for peace or not? All I heard was the social issues in and outside the U.S.

I did figure out a few of their tactics though and ran with them.

1. Blame the U.S. for every starving, oppressed, and executed person in every country of the world.

2. When I have an answer to EVERYTHING they spew from their pie-holes, they take to personal insults.

I had to explain to a few that I didn't "get" the medals on my chest, I "earned" them. They are not tarnished because they were from another member of my family that "served" in the past, nor were they sitting on a store shelf somewhere. They are just 10 years old.

The exact quote from the nut-ball mentioned previously was "God bless America! F$@^@%^ every other country! There is only enough God for one country!!" After seeing this fruit-cake twice, I still don't know what his views are (typical). I DO know there are millions of showers in this country that he could use and chooses not to.

And so it went on. People, mostly the "working-class etc..., joined us in jeering the minions. Veterans from the shelter, veterans walking by, veterans holding signs.

The march went by numerous stores/restaurants that were filled with workers/patrons who all came out to support the FReepers!! The only one on the enemy's side was the enemy--and they were NOT large in numbers.

So the march went on. The people on the sidewalks continuously refused their liberal-dribble hand-outs, and continued to support the FReepers with enthusiastic "thumbs-up."

Park Square--the same anti-American, blame the U.S. for everything speeches, with the same stench of the unwashed. The only thing NOT touched on was abortion, but then they couldn't blame us for the deaths of innocent children in every country known. Not ONCE did I hear anything about supporting America's troops.

Just after Little Bill departed (myself and awestk remained), one speaker referred to a sign held by awetsk (6000+ American's DEAD, WHERE'S THE OUTRAGE??!!!) and included it in his spewing of domestic/humanitarian/racist outbursts. Everytime he said "Over here, one of my 'brothers' has a sign that says..." he was met by a loud "YOU are not my brother!!!" from my mouth to everyone's ears.

It was almost time for them to go roll another blunt, so they marched on to an unknown location. I continued with them (awestk and girlfriend departed) as the last voice. IT was pretty much the same--restaurants/stores/general-public supporting ME and giving them sh!t. More hand-outs were angrily refused and I received more applause, thumbs-up, and handshakes from the average American.

I ended my stay at Copley Square. For an hour, getting patriotic honks from passers-by, I stood on the corner as the lone soldier in a sea of pedestrians that supported me. I thought it was kind of a fitting end for my first FReep, right back where I started from and where Little Bill and Co. found me a few weeks ago.

After wading through dozens of mostly anti-American moderate garbage articles coming out of the US press and posted here at FR, your post shines like a beacon of hope for sane Americans everywhere. Thank you!

The weather was great in Boston clear, cool, and windy. I met up with ElectricStrawberry, Thirstyman, Michealje, and Awestk at Park Street Station. We waited around to see if anyone else was going to show, occuping our time with Missionary work for FR.

We then moved down to Government Center to confront the unwashed. About 200 to 300 of the maggots had crawled out of the sewers. We crossed the street and took up positions and confronted the traitors.

The people walking by gave us a lot of support joining in the debate. One young woman made up a sign from my FReein' stuff and joined the front lines with Thirstyman, michaelje and the ElectricStrawberry.

The debate was loud and furious, at one point the police started to move in because they were worried about some of the confrontations. A Letter Carrier, Nam Vet, Air Force, told me that a shelter for homeless vets, The Bunker, was down the street and volunteered to contact them.

About 20 of them joined us, the debate went on, Those people think that they have a lock on Black opinion, one of the best debaters on our side of the line was this Black dude who blew them out of the water, I invited him to check us out we could use a person like this. It was great.

The unwashed then marched down to Park Plaza and listened to traitorous speaches from left wing union people and other trash.

One of the people we met was Al from Wayland, long time lurker, Thirstyman and Al trashed some supposed Christian (Heathen, UCC type), if you claim to be Christian don't try to argue with the real thing

Enough of me.

That was great, I was glad that you could come. One of the things that THESE people forget is that there are more veterans per square inch in Boston than most places.

In WW2 1st Marine Regement was known as the Mass Regement. Many of our fellow Massholes may not agree with us politically, but when the lives of our brothers and sisters in the military are on the line, they are with us. You saw that today.

Not only are there loads of veterans in Boston, not only will they support US, but they are also very militant when dealing with the minions and will overtly tell them to go *&&^%@&#^ themselves.

I think next time, they will try to spew "peace" somewhere other than right next to a veteran's homeless shelter.

I thought the most gratifying response was from that construction worker who stopped working and applauded us as we walked by with our signs in support of USA. America is great because it is a dream. People are willing to die for it.

I'm not minimizing anything I do, but I feel that I am just doing my part in being the best American that I can. If I sway another "American" to do the same, my good deed has been done for the day. As always, it is great to hear the support we FReepers in the trenches receive from fellow Americans.

It is great to see the look on the faces of the police men and women when they have to stop traffic for these people that they despise. It is also great to see how that look changes when those of us that show support for our troops and government walk by afterwards.

I thank you and appreciate your support. It makes me want to keep at it.

You should have dragged your sorry, hung over A$$ to Government Center. The very sight of the unwashed minions would have wiped the booze from you brain, stiffened your resolve, your other half would like that. ,p>The weather was good, unlike Salem, RaceBannon grew on that FReep, snow on shoe. God Bless you and the future.
