Heavenly Father, as we finish another workweek we come to You praising and glorifying Your Holy Name. Forgive me of my sins and guide me so that I might truly belong to You. Father, You alone know all the needs, You know our hearts. We lift us those that are away from where You would have them be, open their hearts to Your Will; those that are sick or are in the hospital, guide the hands of the doctors, whatever the need You know it. Guide me so that I may be a witness for Your love. Protect us and watch over us. In Christ's Holy Name. Amen

A touching moment. I told you about the two kids in foster care with a nearby family. I went to the school tonight and the girl (kindergarten) had done a picture of her house. The house contained figures of her brother and her foster family (mother, father, twin teens). Her comment on the house was "This is not a fighting house. This is a loving house".

Heavenly Father, You are so great and so good to us even when we fail miserably. Merciful Father, I ask that You shower these little children with all manner of goodness. They have already in their short lives known much pain and suffering. Shield them from any further harm, Mighty God. Hear the cry of this precious little girl through her drawing, and grant her and her brother continued peace, love and comfort in this home that reflects Your goodness and mercy. Allow them to remain with their foster family indefinitely, Father, for it is not good for children to be passed from one place to another. These early years are so important if they are to grow up to be loving parents themselves. Please Father, provide this consistancy that they so desperately need and want, and forbid any actions or legal decisions that would jeapordize their futures. Thank You Father! In Jesus name I ask this...for the benefit of these beloved children. Amen!

I would like to request a prayer or two for my husband. He feels like he is coming down with the flu, on top of everything else he has gone through lately. Thanks, I really appreciate it.

On the way, pubmom. As a doctor (Ok programmer) I recommend lots of water and extra hugs. Wear a trash bag when you do it though.

Prayers said, pubmom. Hang tough, we're really getting hammered lately, but the difficulties will end soon.
