SONG PARODY: Wearin' O the Green (for fireman Mike Moran)
DOUG FROM UPLAND - Song Parodies | 10-2001 | Lyrics, Doug from Upland

Posted on 10/22/2001 8:38:23 PM PDT by doug from upland

MIDI - WEARIN' O THE GREEN

I am Irish and I’m proud to serve with fellow firemen
They risked their lives for you today and they’ll do it again
In remembrance of my brothers who from earthly bonds did pass
Osama, come here, you can kiss my royal Irish ass

They’re the bravest men I’ve known…and I will miss them everyday
I retain them in my heart…they are never far away
In remembrance of my brothers who from earthly bonds did pass
Osama, come here, you can kiss my royal Irish ass
You will die, but first you’ll kiss my royal Irish ass

Never thinking of their safety, on their mind is saving lives
They never know if they will make it home to see their wives
In remembrance of my brothers who from earthly bonds did pass
Osama, come here, you can kiss my royal Irish ass

They’re the bravest men I’ve known…and I will miss them everyday
I retain them in my heart…they are never far away
In remembrance of my brothers who from earthly bonds did pass
Osama, come here, you can kiss my royal Irish ass
You will die, but first you’ll kiss my royal Irish ass

I’ll press on and do the job that I was trained to do
And I’d trust my own life with every member of the crew
In remembrance of my brothers who from earthly bonds did pass
Osama, come here, you can kiss my royal Irish ass

They’re the bravest men I’ve known…and I will miss them everyday
I retain them in my heart…they are never far away
In remembrance of my brothers who from earthly bonds did pass
Osama, come here, you can kiss my royal Irish ass
You will die, but first you’ll kiss my royal Irish ass

if you (and the freeper community) will help to promote it and distribute it to t.v. & radio stations, etc. I would like to help in any way I can, with a little guidance. This talent must not go unnoticed.

TLBShow - great idea.

Thanks. I tried to call their business number to get a fax number and no one answered. Please don't send the original. With suggestions from vetnet, we spent a long time on the phone and did a re-write. Here is the latest. Send it if you like.

I am Irish and was proud to serve with other firemen
Who gave their lives for us that day, each one of them a friend
In remembrance of my brothers who from earthly bonds did pass
Osama, come on out and kiss my royal Irish ass

They're the bravest men I've known...and I will miss them everyday
I will keep them in my heart, so they're never far away
In remembrance of my brothers who from earthly bonds did pass
Osama, come on out and kiss my royal Irish ass
You will die, but first you'll kiss my royal Irish ass

Never thinking of their safety, only saving other lives
They never made it home to see their daughters, sons, or wives
In remembrance of my brothers who from earthly bonds did pass
Osama, come on out and kiss my royal Irish ass

They're the bravest men I've known...and I will miss them everyday
I will keep them in my heart, so they're never far away
In remembrance of my brothers who from earthly bonds did pass
Osama, come on out and kiss my royal Irish ass
You will die, but first you'll kiss my royal Irish ass

Try to take our freedom and you've made a big mistake
The spirit of America you're never gonna break
In remembrance of my brothers who from earthly bonds did pass
Osama, come on out and kiss my royal Irish ass

They're the bravest men I've known...and I will miss them everyday
I will keep them in my heart, so they're never far away
In remembrance of my brothers who from earthly bonds did pass
Osama, come on out and kiss my royal Irish ass
You will die, but first you'll kiss my royal Irish ass

Good news! Wearin' O the Green was written in 1798 and is public domain. We can re-record it however we wish.

Why don't we title this song,

"The ballad of Mike Moran"?

Best part is that just about every Fire Department pipe band from here to Timbuktu knows how to play "Wearin' of the Green".

Hope the lyrics catch on.

I also would love to see my fellow Irishmen chugging down brewskis and singing this in a pub.

...& so America goes on---

Those "Incredible SH+T-FOR-BRAINS Pseudo-Muslims" who killed our fellow Americans are about to face the Curse Admiral Yamamoto recognized when Japan attacked us--once again, fanatical Idiots have "Awakened a Sleeping Giant!"

There will come a Time--in the next 2-3 years--that the admission that an individual is "of the Islamic faith" will be the equivalent of a dweller of medieval times admitting that they are "Leprous!"

"Islam" cannot reject the "assassins;" Islam must now accept the fate of the "assassins!"

Once again, America hears "The Battle Hymn of the Republic!"

God Bless Mike & His Family!

I hope someday soon the truly decent Muslims will have the courage to step forward and defend their religion from those who do evil in their name. When we finally kill the bastard, I hope we have truly cut the heart out of the beast.

I just left a message through a church parish who is going to give my number to his mom. I hope he will call back because I'd like his blessing on this.
