"Operation Restore Warrior Spirit"
to be presented by Radio Host and former Green Beret
Geoff Metcalf
at
"ATF Night"
in
Culver City, CA
7:30 PM Thursday, October 18, 2001

The late Dr. Robert Humphrey once coined a Warrior's Creed:
Wherever I go, everyone is a little bit safer because I am there.
Wherever I am, anyone in need has a friend.
Whenever I return home, everyone is happy I am there.

In the wake of the terrorist attacks and in the memory of those who unknowingly lived Dr. Robert Humphrey's "Warrior Creed" Geoff Metcalf is proposing and developing Operation Restore Warrior Spirit.

We are not starting a club, organization or association. This effort is intended to just be a spark on the tinder – a stimulant of a muscle that has been allowed to and encouraged to atrophy. We want to reawaken the warrior spirit, which has been dulled by political correctness.

Come to ATF Night this Thursday, October 18, 2001 to learn all about Operation Restore Warrior Spirit and much more!

What's ATF? All I can think of is Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms

Like the idea though, alternatively,
Let Men BE Men.

"ATF Night" was founded several years ago by the Lawyers' Second Amendment Society as an opportunity for lovers of the 2nd Amendment from all walks of life to gather on a casual, social basis and enjoy adult beverages, fine cigars and intelligent conversation regarding firearms - hence "ATF Night."

"ATF Night" has evolved into the premier monthly pro-2A social activity where the most interesting, intelligent and thought-provoking ladies & gentlemen come to network, meet leaders from & provide a forum for all pro-2A groups (NRA, GOA, CCRKBA, JPFO, Citizens of America, Liberty Belles, Second Amendment Sisters, etc., etc.) and enjoy overwhelmingly delicious food. (Note: In deference to the many non-smokers, tobacco products are now enjoyed outside on the patio).

Recent Speakers at "ATF Night" include (among many others):

Movie Producer Dan Gifford ("Waco: The Rules of Engagement");
Author and CA Firearms Law Authority John Machtinger;
Internationally Recognized Attorney & Law Professor Dr. James L. Hirsen;
Founder and Editor-in-Chief of "The Sierra Times" J.J. Johnson;
Citizens of America President Brian Puckett;
Attorney Nancy Lord Johnson, Board Member of the Fully Informed Jury Association;
Nancy Morgan, Founder of Conservatives of Los Angeles (COLA).
There is no charge to attend, however some people choose to purchase dinner or hors d'oeurves.

Don't Miss the next ATF Night's exciting, informative and fun evening! Spread the word & bring your friends & families. This is the one pro-2A event where as many ladies as men attend. You don't want to miss this well-rounded, friendly & warm group of freedom-loving Patriots!

I will be there. Perhaps Geoff will talk about the Emerson decision:

American Citizen's Right to keep and bear arms is Guaranteed by Second Amendment _ Emerson Case.

Fifth Circuit APPEALS COURT CONFIRMS THAT THE SECOND AMENDMENT PROTECTS AN INDIVIDUAL RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS.

The Fifth Circuit has ruled that the Second Amendment, like all other amendments (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc) referring to ‘the people’ in our Bill of Rights, protects the right of an individual citizen to keep and bear arms, not the state. The court has smashed a cornerstone of the anti-gun house of cards.”

BELLEVUE, WASHINGTON -– In a stunning decision, the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans has crushed over 60 years of judicial misinterpretation and anti-gun rhetoric by finding that the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution protects an individual right.

While the court’s decision in U.S. v Emerson was to reverse and remand a lower court ruling that cleared Dr. Timothy Joe Emerson of a federal violation of the 1994 Domestic Violence Act, the 5th Circuit clearly ruled that the Second Amendment guarantees the right of an individual citizen to keep and bear private arms, “regardless of whether the particular individual is then actually a member of the militia.”
