Bosnia's radical Muslim fringe under close scrutiny as anti-terror war intensifies

SARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina (AP) -- Posters exhorting Bosnia's Muslims to rise in holy war against America were printed and ready for pasting about the time the first U.S. cruise missile slammed into Afghanistan.

"We want a third and a fourth world war for Islam -- long live bin Laden," reads one of several posters recently confiscated by police. "Afghanistan, Bosnia -- why wouldn't you fight for oppressed men, women and children?" asks another.

But I wonder how much of this pro bin Laden sentiment is from the homegrown Muslims and how much is from all the extremist Islamic immigrants?:

Most of Bosnia's terror-related problems have roots in the past. Years of lax border controls allowed thousands of immigrants from the Middle East to enter. Most were economic migrants, but some were likely radicals who have now gone underground either in Bosnia or elsewhere in Europe, international officials say.

If NATO troops have been deployed during all this immigration and the UN has been running it as a neo-colony, then why didn't either do much before September 11? Not only have some Islamic radicals established themselves in Bosnia, but have they have been using Bosnia as a corridor to Europe.

I don't think we can really judge the Serbs because the Albanians were coming in and taking over. It never made sense to me why the ALBANIAN muslims couldn't just go back to live in ALBANIA, their homeland. Not too many countries have been able to rid themselves of Muslims once they gain a foothold. Lucky for Spain it did what it had to do before there was a US to stop Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand because they did manage to save Spain and the rest of Europe from a Muslim invasion.

Don't let people like John H K let you believe that the Bosnian Muslims weren't doing their own ethnic cleansing from the get-go with the Croats. Then the Croats and Muslims turned on each other in Central Bosnia.

It is the Bosnian Muslims who have made the papers here in the U.S. with their violent fights amongst each other, being hired as muscle to break-in a house and beat a Vietnamese man, and some fights in highschools between the Bosniaks and Blacks large enough to make the news of a major local radio station.

I do not care about whoever is the present president of Yugoslavia ....it seems that ALL of the former Yugoslavia is just a colony of the west....all of it.

The West will regret its colonization efforts as it WILL NOT PAY OFF as they had hoped.

The "new" countries of Croatia and Bosnia are as poor as can be...I know because I talk with refugees STILL coming out of there.

All the kids who arrive are suffering from malnutrition and we have to get them on the WIC food program if they are of the right age and to doctors for serious health and dental problems no matter what their age. The parents are also thin and look awful. I have trouble believing that these folks are coming to us from EUROPE!!!!

The refugees tell me that it is really BAD at home...and NOT just in the camps.

I know that all the refugees that can afford it SEND MONEY BACK TO THEIR FAMILIES...this is in Bosnia, Croatia and Serbia.

I know some folks on these threads think well the Europeans will help....well, boys and girls....THEY ARE NOT!! A few Churches...the Lutherans in Germany are doing as much as possible and some Dutch groups...but it is but a mere drop in the ocean of NEEDS.

I have talked with many, IN FACT HUNDREDS, of refugees of all kinds from that place...and NOT ONE, NOT ONE... ever wanted to come here to live before the civil war. They had a nice way of life...most owned their own homes and land and some, even had small business'.

If folks could just understand...the politicians OF ALL STRIPES...pushed and inflamed the people to fight each other.

Over 50% of all marriages were MIXED. I know only a few "so-called pure" ethnics....almost all have relatives from the other groups.

Are any of these malnourished people the 'correct' ethnicity for the country? I mean are there malnourished Croats from Croatia and malnourished Bosniaks from Bosnia? Because if they are Muslims from Croatia, then maybe the malnourishment is purposeful by that government.

All kinds...Bosnians from Bosnia or Croatia....Serbs from Croatia who have been in camps inside Serbia...Croatians who are married to Serbs or Bosnians....you see it more in it is mostly mixed marriages from Croatia. MOST ALL THOSE BOSNIANS from Bosnia...even Sarajevo look like are starving. IT IS SHOCKING!

I had one 11 year old Serb from Bosnia who needed 3 root channels and about 20 fillings...he also got 2 caps. I think the bill would have been about $3,000....but I am guessing on that. It was paid by a private donation.

I was horrified that we attacked and killed Serbs. That should never have happened, I don't know much about the leadership you all had but the Serbian people were always our allies before and they don't have it the easiest living where they live. I could not understand why we would prevent the Albanians being returned to their homeland, it never made any sense to me that we aided a Muslim land grab.

I asked a friend from Kosovo, who knew nothing about the attack, about the name Damir. She immediately identified it as Muslin.

Among other reasons, we supposedly did it at the behest of our great friends, the Saudis, who have now paid us back by providing most of the terrorists hijacking our airliners and downing buildings with them.
