All members are requested to join us at our next meeting on September 10, 2003 in our virtual boardroom (#vcr at www.new-enterprises.net) to vote to fill the two vacancies on your Board of Directors. A REMINDER to everyone: Meetings of the Board of Directors are open to anyone who wishes to attend. Meetings are held in the virtual boardroom on the NEW-Enterprises.net IRC network every Wednesday evening at 1730 PDT (5:30pm PDT for you civilians). If you have a problem connecting to one of the IRC servers, please contact the Executive Director for assistance. You may connect to the IRC network using the JAVAchat which is located at NEW-Enterprises.net website. Click the "CHAT" button in the left frame, then click the "Click Here" link to start the JAVAchat applet. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I'd like to invite any interested person to attend our meetings and see what we're doing.

VetsCoR is looking for some good people to help us with our mission. We have 1 nominee (a FReeper and retired Capt. USN) for the 2 openings available. If any voting member in good standing wishes to add his/her name to the list, contact me or any member of the board of directors.

Bump for director nominee, retired Capt. - USN (Taxman of FR DC Chapter) and all VetsCoR members & directors.

Bump for all non-member military, veteran, or civilian persons interested in our newly forming Advisory Board. There are no dues, costs or obligations. It's purpose is to assist and/or advising on VetsCoR projects and committees.

Also, VetsCoR has just been approved as a tax-exempt Veterans Organization under Internal Revenue Service section 501(c)(19).

He's a shoe-in. Would you consider joining our Advisory Board? We could use your experience and knowledge. No obligations - just advise and/or assist when you have the time.

"If I could vote, I definitely would vote for Taxman!"

Yeah, so would I. But would you change your registration to Demonrat and vote for him multiple times? LOL

Seriously though, You couldn't find a better man to add to the Board.

simple, actually .... :)

one goes to the VetsCoR website, fills out the application, mails the completed application with supporting document(s) (DD214, photo copy of Retirement ID card, etc) with a check for the yearly dues ... and if one is a retired or honorably discharged service veteran .... one can be a voting member-in-good-standing ..... :)

Only veterans can be VOTING members .... Active duty members or spouses and non-veterans can be members ... NON-voting ... IAW the By-Laws of the organization. All this information is on the VetsCoR website .... :)

Click on the Logo to go to the VetsCoR website.
