While on deployment in Iraq in 2007, retired Senior Chief Mike Day and his team set out on the crucial mission to locate a high-level al Qaeda terrorist cell in Anbar province.
While running point on the raid, Day was the first to enter a small (12' x 12') room defended by (four) terrorists who opened fire.
He managed to take one of them down as he started taking rounds himself. He kept firing, and dropped another terrorist who detonated a grenade as he went down.
(after his rifle was shot from his hands, his thumb nearly severed)...the skilled operator switched to his sidearm and started re-engaging the insurgents, killing the rest (including bludgeoning). Day had been shot a total 27 times, 16 found his legs, arms, and abdomen. The last 11 lodged into his body armor.
Nevertheless, Day remained in the fight and cleared the rest of the house (rescued 6 women and children) before walking himself to the medevac helicopter located close by.
“I was shot both legs, both arms, my abdomen. I mean you throw a finger on me, anything but my head I got shot there” — Day stated.

This is what should be seen as a HERO in the United States of America. Not some celebrity, who got counseling for drug addiction. Not some minority, who graduated high school. Not some politician, who is all “woke” to maintain their status. Not some “journalist”, who lies and creates stories in order to promote a flawed point of view.
One of my pet peeves is how our ruling class ignores or spits on real heroes, while lifting up mere entertainers to "hero" status.
I love our SEAL’s. They are what’s left of this current PC Navy. Our favorite TV series is Seal Team. The producers go to great lengths to get it right. And yes, it has interaction and love interests for the Ladies. My Wife thinks it’s the best thing since Dallas...haha.

Amen! Fully agree with ya. That man is very fortunate and one very tough hombre. Yes...a hero for sure.
But 80+ million Americans (so they say) disagree with us by voting for pedoJoe and the left. pedoJoe and his fellow communists despise our military for “killing their friends in arms and fellow communists”.
The soccer moms across the fruited plain have orgasms over the sob stories of “oppressed minorities” and get all choked up listening to them. And then get all PO’ed when that bad orange man tweets out the real truth.
But THIS guy is the kind of guy I’d want in a foxhole with me, not some demented leftist.

They have lots of experience at abusing soldiers form Vietnam to current soldiers. John Hanoi Kerry is a prime example. Obama wanted soldiers to pay their own medical bills. Now rioters are there heroes.
Speaking of Transgender, I read the other day a Navy Seal who I think was on Seal Team Six came out as a trans woman and reported for duty in a skirt.....

Who is Audie Murphy? Hopefully not some celebrity that hates America off screen, etc. We NEVER know what some of these celebrities are really like, so I don’t quote nor reference, etc. NO celebrity, politician, etc.
