Let the dead lie. Even if it was his fault (which it wasn’t) he did much more damage to our nation after he returned home from war.

Also called the U S S Zippo. I served aboard her in ‘76 when our squadron (VQ-2) deployed there with our A-3 recon aircraft. They would show that accident video every day on CCTV during General Quarters.

Yes, first saw that clip in boot camp in early 1975. Served aboard the South Carolina through 1981. Thank you for serving.
