I am sure we can be friends, though we may talk a little different. I am from the great state of New York, which shares some four or five hundred miles of border with our neighbor, Canada. In my first contacts with our friendly Canadian acquaintances my rural ignorance was corrected, for there are many Canadian geese: the cackling goose, the Brant goose, the white goose, the snow goose and the . . .

I now live in Delaware, where the Canada geese love our corn and beans so much that they never go any farther north. So they are Delawarean geese! Actually I don't think any of them would know what a maple leaf looks like.
