To anyone who says that it is our patriotic duty to pony up as many of the fruits of our labors that government demands, I'm more than happy to point out the part of the tax code that allows voluntary contributions above & beyond liability. I invite them to give more than they “legally” owe. Hems & haws, let the rich guys give more, because they're already having a tough time meeting expenses. *Needed* that big screen TV, fancy wardrobe, the furniture was getting shabby & all of the credit cards are maxed out.

I consider time to be the only real asset any of us have. How we spend our time, our energy equates to the kind of “fruits” that I'm talking about. Those who serve in uniform don't get near enough compensation for the great gift of their fruits that they give to our nation & to see them attacked for their service just boggles my mind.

So much for the “I support the troops, just not the mission” meme from the left. Least the memo rips the mask off of that garbage. A clear bright line is easier to see, so if the order is ever given (tin foil beany firmly in place), hoping reaction will be like the end days of the USSR instead of something like another Tienanmen Square.

The Fight against “Extremism”

Who are they? They’re all around you. They might be eating dinner in the same restaurant as you, buying the same brand of ketchup and even watching the same TV shows you do. But there’s a terrible difference. They are that hideous brand of Enemy of the State known as “The Extremist”.

After 8 years of wailing and doomsaying, of dragging out the corpse of Orwell and parading him around to claim that the Bush Administration’s War on Terror was nothing short of a brutal tyranny that violated the law and the Constitution— the Obama Administration is rolling back the clock eight years and tossing out any pesky civil rights issues in order to fight the real enemy, “extremists”.

Naturally “former veterans” top the list as potential extremists, probably because like most “extremists” they’re highly likely to vote for Republicans. And by now anyone who lived through 8 years of the Clinton Administration knows that when the left talks about “extremists”, they mean people who would never for for them or support their agenda.

The fundamental difference between the Bush Administration and Republicans in general is that when they talk about “dangerous extremists”, they mean foreign terrorists. When the Obama Administration and left wing Democrats talk about “dangerous extremists”, they usually mean people who think taxes are too high. If there’s a better bellwether of the difference between national defense and national tyranny.

The Bush Administration viewed people who wanted to massacre Americans as the major extremist threat. The Obama Administration views people who question their tax and spend policies as the major extremist threat.

That made the noxious hypocrisy in which Democrats, the press and assorted liberals spent the last 8 years screaming that we’re living in a tyrannical state with no civil liberties— all the more foul.

Under the Clinton Administration, we saw the military used against American citizens in violation of the Posse Comitatus act. We saw talk show hosts in the political opposition accused of responsibility for terrorist attacks. We saw a man dragged through the mud and tried in the press for a bombing he was never responsible for, while the foreign terrorists responsible for the original bombing of the World Trade Center got a virtual free pass... leading in to 9/11. We saw border police armed with machine guns storming the home of an immigrant’s private residence, kidnapping a young boy at gunpoint and deporting to a brutal totalitarian regime.

We also saw the use of roving wiretaps, secret evidence and a wide variety of tools given to the Federal government, that Janet Reno and Eric Holder repeatedly abused. And now those same folks are back in the driver’s seat and working hard on their enemies lists.

And naturally the civil liberties people have nothing to say on the subject. Because the targets are “extremists”, by which we naturally mean people who don’t read the New York Times or listen to NPR or get their news from DailyKos or Katie Couric.

The same people who found Bush’s tactics in the name of national defense to be tyrannical, are all for Obama’s war against his political opposition— whether it’s organizing smear campaigns out of the White House targeting his remaining media critics or working to criminalize his grass roots opposition.

As the Obama Administration works to define the War on Terror down from fighting overseas terrorist groups to fighting generic extremists, who will naturally turn out to be members of his own political opposition, we can see how national defense becomes sacrificed to national tyranny in the name of appeasement and outright treason.

And now suddenly the same brave defenders of the Constitution for the last 8 years, nod along and say that, yes maybe the Constitution needs some updating. And perhaps it’s time for an age limit for Supreme Court justices. And naturally the government needs to monitor and take action against “extremist” groups.

After all if thinking for yourself, instead of letting the New York Times think for you isn’t a crime— maybe it should be.

Simple test:

1.) Do you believe in self-reliance?
2.) Do you believe you know better for yourself than a politician in another time-zone?
3.) Do you believe that the government works for you?
4.) Do you believe that you have: “The right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?”
5.) Do you use reason and logic to help understand truth?
6.) Are you willing to give up the government pensions, aid, SSI, Welfare or any other crutch of slavery?

If you answer NO to any of the above, pick up your coffee and your paper and dream about how it used to be. Because unless you are willing to do everything you will gain nothing.

Because I feel a rant coming...
If any citizen depends on the government to live... STOP. Understand what they have done to you. Don’t rely on anything other than yourself, family, and God. If you can’t walk away from what the government gives you, you are a slave to the very system many proclaim to be unhappy with. I know what I’m saying will strike a nerve but understand what I’m saying before you simply respond, I’ll hear about how some have to have x or have to have y to live, or you must take SSI, pensions or other. I’m not saying stop taking the money that is owed, I say stop DEPENDING on it. If you are 50 or 90 every one of us can DO, there are no exceptions today, unless you are a vegetable, with a tube down your throat you have abilities, and have the most sacred gift any of us have, life. Live it.

Give me Liberty or give me Death! But they will not take my country without blood; Freedom is worth the costs many of us have paid, and are willing to pay. Regardless of the oppressor foreign or domestic we have a right to protect the traditions and foundation of our country.

Protest until you have no voice left, protest until you can’t walk any further, and protest until we have no choice. Push them on every front, give not one inch, and fight until we have nothing left to give, for if we don’t we’ll not have anything we want to live for.

My dad was military and my kids are career military. I flunked my physical and was not accepted but I guess I am guilty by association. This card carrying member of the NRA is proud to be called a “right-wing extremist” on illegal immigration and national defense and a fiscal conservative.

Napolitano’s excuse for including Vets was that Timothy McVeigh was a vet and that the report rang true.

Osama bin Laden, Mohammed Atta, Ayman al-Zawahiri, et. al are Muslim. She would never dream of including Muslims on her list.

Why not?

The only reasonable explanation is that she and her boss consider fanatical Muslims to be their allies, and by definition then, American veterans must be their enemies.

The New World Order is this Nation as created by our founding fathers.

The One World Order is what George Soros and Barack Obama hope to create.

They are the two great forces in this world. The New World Order seeks freedom for all, The One World Order seeks to enslave all under one master.

The New World Order was created on this Continent because here we had the room to allow the seeds to be planted, while in Europe the One World Order, leaders like Napoleon, Hitler, Lenin, and Stalin periodically crushed the chances of real freedom there. Even the EU is an instrument of the One World Order particularly in the way it limits what can be produced and bu whom in the member states and how it fines those that don’t abide by the restrictions placed on even the simplest of goods.

Communism, fascism, socialism totalitarianism and Islam are the tools of the One World Order, and those tools have always directly opposed what this country and it’s New World Order has stood for, basic freedom for all mankind.

I qualify, 3 years in the Army of the US, a lifetime of conservatism, Pro-life, adhere to the constitution and ready to vote out Bozo and the boys at the first opportunity. I guess that makes me an extremist.

Lives, Fortunes, Honor

Of those 56 who signed the Declaration of Independence, nine died of wounds or hardships during the war. Five were captured and imprisoned, in each case with brutal treatment. Several lost wives, sons or entire families. One lost his 13 children. Two wives were brutally treated. All were at one time or another the victims of manhunts and driven from their homes. Twelve signers had their homes completely burned. Seventeen lost everything they owned. Yet not one defected or went back on his pledged word. Their honor, and the nation they sacrificed so much to create is still intact.

And, finally, there is the New Jersey signer, Abraham Clark.

He gave two sons to the officer corps in the Revolutionary Army. They were captured and sent to that infamous British prison hulk afloat in New York Harbor known as the hell ship Jersey, where 11,000 American captives were to die. The younger Clarks were treated with a special brutality because of their father. One was put in solitary and given no food. With the end almost in sight, with the war almost won, no one could have blamed Abraham Clark for acceding to the British request when they offered him his sons’ lives if he would recant and come out for the King and Parliament. The utter despair in this man’s heart, the anguish in his very soul, must reach out to each one of us down through 200 years with his answer: “No.”

The 56 signers of the Declaration Of Independence proved by their every deed that they made no idle boast when they composed the most magnificent curtain line in history. “And for the support of this Declaration with a firm reliance on the protection of divine providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.”

... she and her boss consider fanatical Muslims to be their allies ...

That would fall into the same column as something Sir Winston Churchill said about feeding the crocodile last in terms of appeasement, as in "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

But we as an enemy aren't likely to behead democRats in the final scenario, so it's difficult to understand why dimlibs have this attitude, unless they really are as paralyzingly stupid as they appear to be.

Since they apparently haven't changed tactics or learned anything about the natural behavior of tyrants since 1939, this must indeed be the case.

I agree completely, which is why I have made it my personal mission to post it everywhere I can! I know it will start to bother some, but I hope everyone takes it and sends it forth! They don’t teach this stuff in school anymore, so we must be proactive and get the word spread, and soon. We never looked more like Rome than we do now, time is short! Thanks for viewing, and spread the word!!

OK, i thought they were calling it The New World order now. I saw that in a couple places. Back in the day we did call it the One World Order. So if that’s still what they’re calling it I’ll do the same.
