I agree. At this point, the GOP should have 3-4 essential points that they support and they should let it be known that the party will provide funds ONLY to candidates who fully support the 3-4 points.
I would suggest immigration, election reform, and energy production to start. But the specifics can be quibbled over. The bottomline is, as you indicate, the GOP ought to have a plan. They don’t.
Gingrich’s “Contract With America” was very successful. Didn’t it have ten points?
I suspect it could be used almost verbatim…maybe add a point condemning CRT and getting marxists out of our schools.
Part of that plan should be SPECIFIC actions to dismantle and rollback the Democrats’ radical agenda, hold them accountable for lawlessness and corruption, and dilute their power. For starters, I’d like to see the GOP make it a point to remove several sleazy Democrats from certain key committees. But I doubt they’ll do it.
The GOP just drifts along like flotsam on a river.
