What is unfortunate is that the ACU ratings don’t often show how liberal/statist (or bizarre) some members like Amash are (since they rate him an 88% overall, which ignores all this other stuff). The Paulites especially can really do nutty things... how exactly does one rate “condemning” McCain for an attack on the Iranian dictator ? That alone ought to earn a one-way ticket out of Congress. I expect that sort of unhinged stuff from the peanut gallery of the Stalinist Dem wing, the Cynthia McKinney types, not from the GOP.
