Just don't use that as an excuse for no laws.

There is a place for laws that enforce morality, the right to life being of the highest necessity and correctness.

Yes, laws are useful and even necessary... BUT ONLY laws which are in exact keeping with the Constitution and which do NOT seek to punish individual, NON-COERCIVE behaviors. Such things, which may often be considered “sinful,” are not the rightful province of governments, but of churches and families. Behaviors which involve the involuntary participation of others (i.e.: robbery, rape, child molestation and the like) may properly be criminalized by states and municipalities. Federal crimes, constitutionally, may only include treason, piracy and counterfeiting.
