Bump for read.
Three works that need to be read together are War against the Saints by Jessie Evan Roberts,
New Age Versions by Gail Riplinger and Spirit Wars by Peter Jones.
War against the Saints deals with how the Demons operate (passive vs active thinking, images vs words etc), New Age Versions deals with the attack on the words of scripture (King James Bible) and Spirit Wars, on the attack on the Canon itself.
A threefold cord is not quickly broken (Ecc.4:12)

Thanks, ftd. I'll try to get to these today. I like the title to the article; more "Harry Potter" is our friend.
Watch out for mentioning Riplinger; they really hate her. When I read the criticisms of her work, I was surprised how the complaints were based on her "educational background, degrees and 'feminine misunderstanding.'"
As if a theology degree is required to understand the Bible, history and nefarious intentions.

I have a master's degree in religious studies which was largely deconstruction studies. These so called scholars tied their brains in knots in order to come up with justification for living an evil life. And according to the Jesus Seminar, just about none of the quotes in the Bible attributed to Him were actually his.
I love that Funk is quoted as writing(regarding the Jesus Seminar),to "beware of finding a Jesus entirely congenial to you." Just a few paragraphs above he is quoted saying that Jesus endorses "protected recreational sex among consenting adults." Sounds like he found himself a congenial Jesus and so did these other jokers!
