Now, I believe in eternal security, so I disagree with the view that the passage (Rom.8:28-29) is not teaching eternal security.

However, it is teaching it from the basis of a born again believer who has believed (conditional salvation)and is now predestinated to be conformed to the image of Christ.

The weakness of the Calvinist argument is in its Unconditional election beginning, not its eternal security conclusion.
