Daniel and Revelation as Book Ends
Matthew 5:17 At that time Yeshua said to his disciples: Do not think that I came to annul the Torah, but to fulfill it. 18 Truly I say to you that until heaven and earth (depart) not one letter or dot shall be abolished from the Torah or the Prophets, because all will be fulfilled.
The Prophets are telling us that time is up! The great tribulation is rapidly approaching, buckle up!
When I was growing up my Mother told me that the book of Revelation was about the future, so I read it over and over and over again. I was looking for America. My version of America at that time was of John Wayne riding in on his horse and setting the situation right.
I was a bit off, yes America is there, but not has I had originally thought.

Interestingly enough, events that start in Daniel unfold in Revelation.

Calendars in Daniel and Revelation
In the book of Revelation Yeshua addresses groups of people via the calendar they employ, and He only lists a three and a half year time period for each of them, patterns you know.
The Hebrew Calendar

There’s the rapture, [11:12] after the three and a half year great tribulation.
1260 days, three and a half (years) once again. There are several groups that have use the 360 day calendar.

Some folks have suggested that the two witnesses are Enoch and Eliyah (Elijah) because they were translated and did not die. This is untrue because Eliyah did in fact die.

Now after I pointed out that were was no seven year time period in the book of Revelation a famous international charlatan attempted to circumvent these facts by adding the 1260 days and 42 months to form a seven year tribulation. But you can not do that, it would be twisting the words of Yeshua to prop up a false view. And as always they leave out pertinent information, there is no end to the sacrifice in the book of Revelation. Yeshua put an end to the sacrifice with His own, It is finished! John 19:30

I think a really good book series to read, for Daniel and Revelation, is a two part book called God Cares. He goes into really indepth analysis of how Daniel and Revelation both line up with real time lines and shows just how close we are to the end, prophetically speaking.

WHAT?
They do line up exactly and also Daniel tells us that he saw until the thrones were cast down, meaning until Messiah assumed his inheritance:
“I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.” Daniel 7:9
This event is also shown in Psalm 110:
A Psalm of David.} The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.”
I believe Daniel saw up until this event in Revelation Chapter 4 where the Court is sitting and this also may mean some things concerning the timing for critical events when they begin to unfold later on in Revelation and the Psalms:
“The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Revelation 4:10-11
If you read these two books, you will see how well they line up on a year to year basis. I’m basically saying, it lines up by the year. You could almost set your watch by it that it lines up so well.

It’s also the last day or Ramadan, there’s a line up of five of the planets, there’s a comet visible called *The Devil’s Comet*, NASA is launching three rockets during the eclipse named after some Egyptian god, and CERN is supposed to be getting the Hadron Collider going to try to find *the God Particle*.
That’s all I can remember of what is supposed to happen tomorrow and I *THINK* I remembered it all.

I think your arguments for reincarnation are weak. I do believe people may sometimes experience residual memories of other people’s past lives, but each person born into this world is accountable for his or her own actions.

John the Baptist was serving in a role like that of Elijah. Christ spoke figuratively about this just like he spoke of Lazarus “sleeping” when referring to his death.

And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come.
Receiving it was not about being able to accept the idea of reincarnation. It had to do with the fact that Israel, as a nation, did not repent at the preaching of John or Jesus. God could have fulfilled prophecies concerning the millennial kingdom sooner if Israel had repented. However, in God’s sovereign plan, He chose to use Israel’s stubbornness to bring salvation to the Gentiles. See Romans 9-11.
As far as the blind man being born blind as punishment for his own sins (that you mentioned in the link), the disciples were aware that sometimes God brings judgment for sins that have not occurred yet. Sometimes this acts as a deterrent, as was the case of Paul having a “thorn in the flesh”.
I don’t have enough time to spend on this topic, but I thought I’d throw this out there for your consideration.
