Atheism has never claimed to have any “power” to do anything, so the question is not applicable.
There certainly are many people who have pulled themselves out
of trouble without involving a religion.
Name them. I can give you 100 names in an hour.
I certainly hope you ask permission of each one before exposing their personal lives to the world.
They celebrate it to the world. Jesus is like that.

I believe you set up the classic “straw man” argument.
You set up the notion that there are those who claim atheism has some power, and you demand examples of such power. Well no one has ever claimed atheism has some sort of power.
Not for long.......And it isn't about "getting out of trouble".
