God, our Father,
We are enduring troubled times and there are days when we grow weary of the battle. But we are grateful because You already know what has happened, what is happening now, and what will happen in the future. We confess that our battle is not against flesh and blood. It is against spiritual principalities and rulers of darkness. Help us to use the weapons of our warfare that You have given us, Lord. We ask You to grant us the grace we need to stand firm in faith, to keep our eyes focused on You, and to recognize that what we see and hear is a part of the physical realm and not the spiritual realm where the battle is truly taking place. Lord, help us to keep our eyes upon the Cross and our ears inclined only to You.
Lord God, we ask You to reveal Yourself and Your Will to America in a mighty show of strength and power. We pray that our current President would receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Though we disagree vehemently with Mr. Biden's policies, we know Your heart's desire is for him to accept Jesus as His Lord. Surely it is not Your will that any should perish but that all would come to repentance. We confess that Christ has purchased our freedom for each of us who choose to accept His Lordship, and He will not fail to defend all the blessings He paid to provide us. He has established His Covenant and destiny for our nation, and He will stand with us to preserve it. Lord God, we confess that the enemies of both America and Israel will be dealt with by Your mighty hand.
Father, You have never failed us nor America. With Your help we will stand firm for the sake of all that we hold dear---for the sake of those who died for our freedoms, and for the sake of our children, grandchildren, and all generations that follow. With Your help, we will not accept defeat.
We take all the limits off You, Lord. We confess that nothing is too difficult for You. We acknowledge that our thoughts and our ways are not Your thoughts or ways. You are high above all, Lord God. We believe You are coming to deliver us from this present evil day. You will strengthen us and help us and uphold us with Your righteous right hand. You will bring us across the Red Sea on dry land. Your people will be vindicated. And we will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy. We will sing praise to Your Name, O Most High.
Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, Who only does wondrous things. And blessed be His glorious Name forever and ever. Let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen in the Name of our Savior.

On the first day of the Afterfeast of Theophany, the Orthodox Church extols Saint John the Baptist as the greatest man born of a woman. He surpasses all the ancient prophets because he baptized Jesus Christ, Whose coming he foretold.

Prayer To Understand The Enemy’s Strategy
Heavenly Father, we thank You that in Christ the victory over Satan, sin and death was won at the cross, and yet we know that until Christ has put every enemy under His feet, we are still engaged in spiritual warfare against the enemy of our soul. Keep us ever mindful of this truth.
Lord, we know that the weapons of warfare are not physical weapons of the world, they are not carnal or fleshly weapons, but are mighty through God to the pulling down of spiritual strongholds. Lord, we pray that You would teach us how to demolish spiritual strongholds in our lives and in the lives of others, and to do this Your way and not to try to do so in our own foolish fleshly strength. Teach us to rely on You alone, we pray.
Help us to understand the strategies of Satan who seeks to minimise our effectiveness by causing us to doubt Your Word, Your abilities and Your character, and who even seeks to get us to question who we are in Christ. Lord, I pray that my trust in You does not waver, for it is in Your power alone that the strongholds of Satan will crumble.
Keep us ever alert and aware to the advantage he gains over us when we are not prepared for spiritual warfare. May we be clothed in Christ, constant in prayer and sensitive to the leading of Your Holy Spirit so that we may overcome the enemy, not by might, nor by power but by Your Spirit. We ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus,
