The appointment of a man as prefect of the faith who had been under investigation by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith itself is part of the kind of "humor" that Pope Francis particularly likes. In the Church, however, notable circles no longer find it funny.

It’s fitting that Bergoglio was hanging out with Alex Soros today, because the modus operandi with the Tucho appointment is the ecclesiastical equivalent of the “Soros D.A.” concept, i.e., installing as chief of law enforcement someone who believes in the abolition of law enforcement.
