“...God given right...”

God doesn’t give a person the right demonstrate no matter what the topic is, man does. Mr. Meinecke has a history of demonstrating at other people’s events and has been arrested for doing so. So he was fully aware of what could happen if he did the things he did.

“Meinecke is not new to reading the Bible at Pride events, as he was arrest twice in 2022, once for being at a Pride event and the second time while at an abortion rally, ChurchLeaders reported.”

If he wants to do an event then get the permit and do his event and he should be protected from disallowed counter demonstrations at his event. Ones for him that he has been arrested for.

But he is playing directly into their hands by offering himself being made the villain by the media and creating a situation that further demonizes the cops by doing their job, the same one they would be required to do for him if the roles were reversed.

Guess you do not believe in the constitution? Yes peaceful demonstrations are indeed an absolute right on public grounds.

If you have a problem with that the take it up with the US Constitution. Why do you believe you need the governments permission, via a permit, to speak and protest peacefully? You might be surprised to know the Supreme Court has ruled on this and no permit is required for any such protest.

Which man do you trust having control over your freedoms since you have decided to dismiss the idea of rights from God? Why should I not get to decide what rights you have?

I did not serve my country and defend the constitution so people like you can decide when a person is allowed to exercise their free speech in public spaces. Quite the tyrannical streak you are exposing there.

“If he wants to do an event then get the permit”

We don’t need permits to practice our religion here in the USA, or to speak in the public square.
