[Just mythoughts]

This earth is filled with literal evidence of age…. Peter describes heaven/earth age/world that was. And Peter describes how the Heavenly Father marks time.. A day with the Lord is as a thousand years….

The ‘days’ of creation were thousands of years…. Actually what is described is an environmental clean up after the casting down of the devil, described in Genesis 1:2. This earth was not created without form and void, it became that way. (Isaiah 45)

When do people think the casting down-overthrow of Lucifer took place? The serpent-tree of the knowledge of good and evil, was there in the garden of God..

When did this knowledge get known?

Context disproves that assertion.

The word for day can mean an indeterminate span or era,,

unless the context defines it differently and actually gives a description of the day as is used in genesis chapter one in seven places.

Gen 1:5 - And God called

the light Day,

and the darkness he called Night.

And

the evening and the morning

were the first day.

Gen 1 to 31

Each day of the week of creation

is self identified as

a day , light,
and a night , dark

A 24 hour day/night. light/cycle.
