“I know evangelicals who think the Ten Commandments were abolished at the cross. They actually don’t believe in the Ten Commamdments anymore all because of the Sabbath”
We don’t “believe” the Ten Commandments in the context of Jewish Law. Christ’s crucifixion put us under grace which replaced Jewish law.
However, we do believe the Ten Commandments as tenets of Christianity, as all except one were repeated in the New Testament. (The Commandment re Sabbath Day is not mentioned in the New Testament.)
Before Christ’s death, people were “saved” by faith in God and keeping Commandments. After Christ’s death, keeping the Law for salvation no longer was “a thing”.
