I had hoped for a well reasoned critique. That is not what I found.

To paraphrase: What advantage does a half-evolved eye offer for survival? Or how about a three-quarters evolved lung? Or a two-thirds evolved genitalia? How do mammals even reproduce without fully functioning sex organs?

All of those questions have repeatedly been answered, and easily. There are creatures alive today which have, essentially, the partial organs mentioned.

Do the authors not know about worms with light sensitive spots on their heads? (partial eyes which confer advantage) Fish which can survive on land because their air bladder partially functions as a lung? Mammals which lay eggs and whose functioning sex organs are significantly less "evolved" than most other mammals?

It would be nice to see a serious article.

I do not see any conflict between the Bible and the idea that species can evolve from other species.

“There are creatures alive today which have, essentially, the partial organs mentioned.”

No. That is microevolution and they are doing just fine.

I mail-ordered ten tiny chicks that are now hens. They were raised by their embedded instincts, completely. The old question “which came first the chicken or the egg” can not be answered by microevolution nor, certainly, macroevolution.
