They want to annihilate Traditional Catholics, they persecute conservative bishops, they alienate serious priests, nuns, and seminarians, they ridicule Catholic morality, they name abortionists and perverts to official positions —they shouldn’t be shocked the faithful are fed up.

Oops… And, as we all know so well, liberals don’t believe anyway, so they don’t donate — on the contrary, they increase the deficit with their contrived and expensive sinecures. It will only go downhill from here, until, perhaps, after the next conclave, if the voting cardinals are much wiser than they were in the catastrophic 2013 vote.

Not a dime from me to Peters Pence. And also nothing to the Bishop’s Diocesan Appeal. The good works in the appeal video are very nice. Somehow they forgot to mention Catholic Charities’ earnest work facilitating illegal immigration
The bulk of Euro money for the Vatican (not the Church) comes from Germany. This is through the mandatory withholding through the tax system for religious affiliation. Hence the German government and “deep state” has outsized influence on the Church leadership and its own “deep state”.
I’m sure that is 100% accurate, and all well and good. But, if the Americans are not donating, they are screwed.
