National Archives Sued for Requiring Visitors to Remove Pro-Life Apparel

Suit was filed this week in the D.C. federal district court by three anti-abortion proponents who visited the National Archives on the day of the March for Life in Washington. The complaint (full text) in Tamara R. v. National Archives and Records Administration, (D DC, filed 2/8/2023) alleges in part:

5. While in the National Archives, Plaintiffs were subject to a pattern of ongoing misconduct by federal government officials, specifically National Archives security officers, Defendants John Does and Jane Doe, who targeted Plaintiffs and intentionally chilled their religious speech and expression by requiring Plaintiffs to remove or cover their attire because of their pro-life messages.

6. This case seeks to protect and vindicate Plaintiffs’ fundamental and statutory rights under federal law, the First and Fifth Amendments to the United States Constitution, and the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (“RFRA”).

Suing after the fact is not enough. Tell them to fvck off and call the cops if they want. The cops will stop showing up. That’s what the left does.

Then when the cops don’t show up, beat their asses.

Suing is one of the few ways to really communicate with these types. Losing big money for the Archives or possibly losing their job is something they understand.
Observing America’s freedom of speech is beyond their comprehension at this time. They will have to be pushed into doing the right thing. They don’t have to like it.

National Archives police are usually contractors and range from very good (usually former military) to crap. As one former VN veteran officer told me, “I wouldn’t trust (many) of them with water-pistols”.

The Archives was quietly “radicalized” about 2016 at leadership levels. You had to be there to know what happened. Quality leadership in many offices went down the toilet. The good people had to suffer in silence or leave.

I wonder how that is done, given civil service rules...

While the LORD reserves vengeance for Himself, as one who is created in His image I sorely wish to see vengeance upon these purveyors of death through human means soon and in my lifetime.

Same thing happened to a school group at the Smithsonian around the same time.

Everyone in the security firm and everyone involved in National Archives needs to be fired and never allowed to collect a paycheck from any government agency for the rest of their lives. Who needs such filthy Communists in our government?

Just show up in numbers with Jesus saves t-shirts and tell them to eff off. If they don’t like it they can call the cops.

Onward Christian soldiers.

I’d like to see somebody attempt to stop me from entering an establishment with a Jesus t-shirt.

Umm... hate to tell you, but everything has been quietly “radicalized”.

Everything.
