I have been to a lot of different churches and have never seen anybody express hatred for gay people or a desire to mistreat them or mock them.

Absolutely true!

Andy Stanley is virtue signaling to the Woke movement.

I love Charles Stanley and use to go to his church when I was in Atlanta. But he must be heartbroken about Andy (unless he is just blinded by his love for his son).

Andy's gone over to the dark side by trying to appeal to liberals.

As a kid of a preacher, with uncles, cousins, friends who are preachers (Baptist), I’ve NEVER heard that. They just try harder to reach out to the gays so they’ll repent, convert, and change their ways.

God is very clear what his judgment is about these perversions.....”God gave them up”....because the penalty for their sin is wrapped up in their very sin....”A reprobate mind” is one that cannot think or discern matters rightly. Therefore anything they have to say about anything really isn't anything I care to hear for they're mind is empty of thinking right and their lifestyle fully opposes what God teaches. As the days of Lot and Noah....as it's written. Is the era we live now.

I finally found a church where the pastor spends his time teaching the Bible

He ain’t justifying his sin. He is saying homosexuality ain’t a sin. I don’t know if he’s projecting, but seems likely.

Andy has departed from the Gospel which is to say he's following a false Gospel.

He needs to read Romans 1....and then the rest of the texts.

Stephen Black, an author and executive director of First Stone Ministries, told CP that he believed Stanley’s remarks showed that his church has “a terrible theology based in psychology rather than an actual biblical theology.”

“Stanley is filled with such corrupt theology that he believes ‘gay’ and other corrupt identities are legitimate,” said Black. “This is not a biblical worldview.”

I wonder if he’s considered that unrepentant gays who come to church are less interested in hearing the Word than in changing the church to force it to affirm their sin. That was my experience in a church that began welcoming gays.
