It's not about church attendance. The C of E is the "established church" and exists for various official ceremonial functions. They are government subsidized and do not depend on donations.
Their "God" is a metaphor for British ruling class interests. Any changes represent changing fashions among their ruling class.
Any believers in Christ left long ago.

I believe the upsidedown world we’re living in now is Gods Judgement - He’s lhanded us over to our sins and we’re seeing the results of that.
