Everyone should listen Jordan Peterson's series of talks on Genesis. He avoids the "scientific" debate, considering it shallow and basically meaningless. What "proof" is there that Eve ate an apple? Or that Abraham negotiated with God? Or that Cain killed Abel?
Rather, he approaches from a psychological and "Jungian" aspect, discussing from the viewpoint of what we know to be true about human psychology and the human unconscious.

Agreed. A professor in the university I went to many years ago once said “Genesis is a why book not a how book”.
Modern science is occupied by liars and frauds, when will Christian stop looking for approval from "science" ?
There is nothing intellectually solid about being told what science is and is not by liars (educators, bureaucrats, liberal Christians and the media). We accept Genesis by faith , and no person in the world does anything different when it comes to creation, whether they shout science or not

Well you absolutely had me in full agreement until you denied objectivity with the “all other stories but the Bible are wrong.”
Considering many of them metaphorically tell the exact same story... Some of them written long before the Biblical timeline. Too bad you started with an intelligent objective out of the box perspective and then threw yourself right back into the box of 12th century ignorance.
