Billy Graham - 3 things you can't do without
Youtube ^ | Late 1970's? | Billy Graham

Oh, how barren is our time without these great giants - great influences.

How adrift we have become.

Where has Franklin been? Maybe I have missed him.

Not to take away anything from dear MacArthur, Jeff Durbin or Jack Hibbs. But this era does not know Billy Graham. I miss our Christian nation.

Here is another clip of Rev. Graham from 1957.

But I praise the Lord Jesus, Jesus is still on the throne!

Maranatha Lord.

Jack Hibbs is my pastor and has been for the past seven years.
I can tell you that God is doing a MIGHTY work in our church right now.
When covid hit, satan thought he had silenced the gospel by shutting down the voices of evangelism. WRONG... God is moving mightily since covid in our church.
The gospel is being preached, and many are being converted.
Praise God!!

OH!!! I am SO happy for you and your family!

If you talk to Pastor Hibbs, tell him he has been such a HUGE blessing for my wife and I over the past few years in NH and now in Montana. We have donated to your ministry. We LOVE him, his boldness, his church. WE LOVE YOU!

Thank you for replying tonight. You have made my night.

I miss it too, and Billy Graham.

My fondest memory of a Billy Graham broadcast: I was alone on Christmas Eve 25-30 years ago. I went to the evening service at church and needed to get something to eat, but didn’t feel like Chinese, so I drove up to Skokie to a Jewish place I figured would be open. The place was very busy and was starting to run out of some menu items. As I started in on my matzo ball soup, the Billy Graham Christmas broadcast began to play on the sound system, and the place got very quiet as people listened.

Franklin is mostly OK but he likes to talk about letting politician’s get away with their crimes. In the name of moving on and all. I have not heard anything from him lately. But he used to stand up to bad things in the world. More than his dad ever did.

Billy Was kind of in love with Bill and Hillary. I never got over that. I did go to one of his crusades once.

I saw Franklin Graham on Newsmax a couple weeks ago with Greta Van Susteren. He is still on message, and he is a worthy successor to his father.

Would have loved to witness that.

I pray you are no longer alone on Christmas eve and day. :)

America has descended.
“On a typical Sunday morning in the period from 1955-58, almost half of all Americans were attending church – the highest percentage in U.S. history. During the 1950s, nationwide church membership grew at a faster rate than the population, from 57 percent of the U.S. population in 1950 to 63.3 percent in 1960.” usc.edu site

My kids are amazed when I tell them that the Billy Graham crusades were broadcast on a major network during prime time. I think it was every year on ABC.

FYI - there is a Billy Graham channel on SiriusXM radio that broadcasts all of his sermons - old and new.

So great to read this post!! I will be sure and give him that message, if I get a chance to talk with him. Sometimes it is a quick turn around between services but he does try and fellowship afterwards a bit, and is such a humble servant of God!!
