Too bad they’ll never build a statue of Jesus Christ.

Missionary Junípero Serra created California!!!!
We leaned about him in high school back in Arizona when I was young! He is NOT replaceable by any Native American, unless one prefers paganism!!!!

Why replace?
Just add.
Oh, forgot, in the very limited pantheon of leftist ‘talent’, only two of the four basic math functions are available to them: Subtract and divide.

Why can't they have two statues? Why do they need to disrespect Junipero Serra? Everything I've heard about St. Junipero Serra was that he was a good man. Why are the Left so hell bent on destruction?

Another celebration of the Stone Age that people lived in when the white man arrived here. Although in southern California they could put up at least one statue of that great Caveman, Fred Flintstone.

Hmmmm.....will the ‘new’ person have been a slave owner? If not him, his ancestors certainly. Do indigenous get a pass on being slave holders, slave traders, etc?

Next, the renaming of El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Angeles de Porciuncula (the Town of Our Lady, Queen of the Angels of Porciuncula) to reflect current usage: henceforth simply known as Gehenna.
