I think the Bible teaches that He decides which nation/s rise and fall. And His purposes are beyond human understanding in some cases.
Would say that I agree with your points in general and certainly the western “globalist” movement has been an affront to God’s teachings in many ways, and no doubt deserving of punishment, but within all these societies there are large numbers of dissenting citizens who have not stained themselves with agreement or participation, the fact that we have not found a way to do God’s work ourselves is not so much from lack of effort as the frustration of the beast’s control of all the avenues we might seek, electoral, judicial, societal ... but surely God would not just unleash a vast punishment on the whole mixture of good and evil at this point? I suppose that is why the Rapture concept gained so much accceptance, it is the one way to separate out the good and the evil.
However, my point was more that if God did want to punish western globalists, he might find better servants in that task than the likes of Lukashenko and Putin, the modern day equivalent to Mussolini and Hitler. Our problem is, as flawed as the western allies might have been in 1939, we are far worse now and can hardly claim moral superiority to these scoundrels.
