התקפות חימה על היהודים (V)
נאומו של היטלר ביום השנה לעלות הנאצים לשלטון בגרמניה היה הפעם קצר מאד — הוא נמשך רק20 דקה — והיטלר לא נאם באסיפת עם, אלא לפני המיקרופון במפקדתו. חלק רב מנאומו הקדיש שוב להתקפות חימה על היהודים, והתפרצויות השנאה וצמאון הדם עלו עוד על מה שהשמיע בכל נאומיו הקודמים.
“... הם אויבינו העיקריים. אם ננוצח במלחמה, יחוגו היהודים חג פורים חדש בכל רחבי אירופה”. להלן אמר היטלר: “חיסלנו את היהודים. עכשיו יש צורך לפקוח את עיני כל העמים, כדי שגם הם יחסלו את היהודים בארצותיהם. אנו מלמדים כל בן עם אחר בתחום המחיה שלנו ואת כל שבויי המלחמה שבידינו את הרעיון הגדול של האנטישמיות, למען יפיצו את האמונה בתרבותנו המערבית בכל העולם כולו, כי הכחדת היהודים בכל העולם הוא התפקיד החשוב ביותר שהצבנו לנו”.
Anger attacks on Jews (V)
Hitler’s speech on the anniversary of the Nazis coming to power in Germany was very short this time - it lasted only 20 minutes - and Hitler did not speak at a National Assembly, but in front of the microphone at his headquarters. Much of his speech was again devoted to angry attacks on the Jews, and outbursts of hatred and bloodthirstiness surpassed what he had uttered in all his previous speeches.
“... they are our main enemies. If we will be defeated in the war, the Jews will celebrate a new Purim holiday all over Europe.” Hitler said further: “We have exterminated the Jews. Now it is necessary to open the eyes of all peoples, so that they too will exterminate the Jews in their lands. We teach every other people in our livelihood, and all the prisoners of war we have, the great idea of anti-Semitism, to spread the faith in our Western culture all over the world, that the extermination of the Jews all over the world is the most important role we have set for ourselves.”
