I believe there is an inversely proportional relationship in popularity between those that tell people what they want to hear, and those that tell people what they need to hear.

He made all the money he wanted to in the organized religious business.

The agnostics try to claim Thomas Jefferson as one of their own based on some of his allegedly anti-religion statements. But if you really study the man and his writings, you come away realizing he was a deeply religious man who simply didn't care for the business plans of people like Rick Warren.

His appearing as the ‘moderator’ of the BO/opposing
candidate debate (several years ago) put this man on my ‘list’. “The Purpose Driven Life”, indeed!
