Although this happened in Nigeria, it is emblematic of what is happening all over the West today, including in the U.S. Non-Muslims are being generous, welcoming, and kind, without any particular concern for the possibility that not all of the recipients of their largesse might be interested in reciprocating their kindness.
Bishop Stephen Mamza of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Yola, is building houses in Yola for people who have lost their homes due to jihad terror activity by the Islamic group Boko Haram, whose official name is People Committed to the Prophet’s Teachings for Proselytizing and Jihad. Since many of those displaced are Muslims whom Boko Haram didn’t think were Islamic enough, Bishop Mamza also built them a mosque. What could possibly go wrong?
In an interview Sunday in Nigeria’s Punch, Bishop Mamza explained that “at a certain stage we had over 3,000 people living on our church premises,” and “we thought of what we could do to improve their living standards.” Ultimately, with help from German backers, “we started last year in January the construction of 86 units of houses to be built for the 86 families still in our camp. On the housing estate, we built a church and a mosque and a school for the IDPs,” that is, Internally Displaced People.
Mamza maintained that building the mosque was a simple act of charity: “In the first place, when we played host to these IDPs, we did not discriminate against any one of them. We didn’t ask what religion the IDPs belong to; we didn’t ask for their church denomination;

Building a gallows for Christians eh Francis.
I’m kind of conflicted about this——helping a group of people to be misled by a false religion away from Christ is my concern. However, maybe those seeing this done by “Christians” will be curious as to “why” and seek Christ in their questioning....
Don’t worry, the Catholics will be thanked for their generosity by having their church burned down.

hope he remembers that while getting his throat cut
Traveled thru Spain. One church started out as a Mosque a thousand years ago. Then it became a synagog before going christian. These building don’t go up so easy. Better to take than build a new one.
According to Dante there is a special place near the bottom circle of Hell for people who do things like this.

There’s that as well——and the media will blame the Catholics for “shoddy workmanship” that caused the Muslims to act the way they did...

One would hope so. But I suppose it all depends on what the imams are saying behind the closed doors of that mosque. It could be, “Let us be grateful to our Christian brothers.”
Or it could be, “The infidels are a foolish people. As you can see, they were put on this earth to serve us.”
Somehow I think the second possibility is more likely.
Nigeria, the most populous nation in Africa, is now around 50% Moslem. This is going to end very badly. Appeasement won’t work.

Here’s an article you might find interesting. It talks about how a country changes (and not in a good way) when its percentage of Muslims increases.
https://shoebat.com/2011/07/02/what-to-expect-the-effect-of-muslim-population-growth-on-a-society/
Note that the article is 10 years old. So the percentages by country are mostly too low compared to today.
I’m initially conflicted also, but then so many times in my life I have seen that trusting Christ’s message of repentance, charity and forgiveness has proven to be as “asymmetric” as any philosophy can be. We are promised spiritual rewards in the afterlife, but the temporal rewards are often completely surprising, disproportionate and wonderful as well. Being a Christian means going against our emotions and gut-reactions. I suppose in this case, I will have to trust the wisdom of the Bishop to know his people.
At 40%, nations experience widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks, and ongoing militia warfare. From 60%, nations experience unfettered persecution of non-believers of all other religions (including non-conforming Muslims), sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia law as a weapon, and jizya, the tax placed on infidels.
Nigeria has been experiencing the things listed in the 40%+ category for many years, and now it’s heading toward the next level of horrors. The CC building Muzzies new mosques will just hasten the process.

“Nigeria: Muslims Needed a Mosque. The Catholic Church Built One for Them.”
Looks like the first Chrislamic Pope is changing the Catholic Church into the first Cathlislamic Church. One world religion here we come.
Don’t be conflicted... Do what people used to do and that would stay firm in your beliefs. Because it may not be next week, but soon, that new mosque will probably grow their recruiting and eventually go back and chop the heads off of the churches parishioners...
So the males will be beheaded, then they will get rapey with the females.
It's my GUESS that we haven't read the whole story. The media print what they want us to know AND how much of a story they want us to know. SO we probably DIDN'T hear the whole story. It's my GUESS.

MAYBE I'm wrong.
Do unto others...
So the Catholics did unto the others. When they become numerous enough, the others will do unto the Catholics. It won’t be pretty.
