Humans are fallen, failed, and corrupted to the core. its nice to find a true saint, but they are extremely rare, and one shouldn’t expect it.

I know its difficult to reconcile, but his behavior in the shadows should not make his apologetics any less true though.

A line of logic can be true even in the person making it is a jerk. And we only have this person’s word that this Ravi guy - never heard of him myself - WAS a bad person.

Don’t know anything about this Ravi, but I’m not going to assume he was evil personified just because of an article on the Internet. And....I just don’t care enough to spend hours trying to confirm things for myself.

If his logic was right, then it was right. Or not. Kind of like a medical opinion....

Agreed.

“The realization that Ravi Zacharias was not the greatest apologist of his generation – but rather one of its greatest frauds – has felt like a catastrophic betrayal.”

This conclusory statement is ignorant or misleading or both. MLK,Jr. was, by many accounts, a notorious womanizer, yet his writings are scripturally based and powerfully convincing. Zacharias apparently falls into the same camp.
