Another millionaire minister has been exposed as a fraud.
I don’t know if RZIM does good work, but they should certainly change the name at this point.

The Christian Apologists at RZIM ( other than Ravi himself) go to the belly of the beast - SECULAR COLLEGES to present the case for Christianity to students and professors alike in open forums. They go to such western universities as Harvard and Oxford and even universities in Asia and Africa to present the gospel and take on tough questions. One of their ( now departed ) apologist Nabeel Qureshi ( a Muslim convert to Christianity) actually presented the gospel to MUSLIMS.
If this is not good work, I don’t know what is.
Humans are fallen, failed, and corrupted to the core. its nice to find a true saint, but they are extremely rare, and one shouldn’t expect it.
I know its difficult to reconcile, but his behavior in the shadows should not make his apologetics any less true though.
Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

That is probably what will happen but it feels like erasing history since he was the founder warts and all. He in hindsight probably shouldn’t have put his name on it in the first place. Unfortunately we all have prideful egos too.
This is horrible. trashing a man after his death with no evidence. For what goal, to remove his message of Christ Risen??

A line of logic can be true even in the person making it is a jerk. And we only have this person’s word that this Ravi guy - never heard of him myself - WAS a bad person.
Don’t know anything about this Ravi, but I’m not going to assume he was evil personified just because of an article on the Internet. And....I just don’t care enough to spend hours trying to confirm things for myself.
If his logic was right, then it was right. Or not. Kind of like a medical opinion....
I saw a few of his messages on one of the many Christian stations on DirecTV. They were solid Christian messages. I have heard about the rumors and they are disappointing (basically similar to the Al Gore stories). But he did present the gospel well when I watched him.
I’ve been a Christian for decades. I often sin. Anger and pride being my two greatest faults. I’ve cussed often enough when pissed. Including in print on FR. I know it would be nice if Christians were flawless but we are not.
That said, if the guy engaged in criminal behavior, he should have been punished. But a high-profile (apparently?) Christian apologist WOULD likely face a lot of false charges. As well as some that are going to be true, since sanctification is a process and I know I won’t finish the process in this life!
