No, but he did spend time lost in the World. We all have our moments, and some do some pretty bad things. Yet, from what I understand Solomon was saved. From what the Jewish writings we can read, it seems he did come back in his elderly years.
Unfortunately the things he did as he wondered had a lasting negative effect on Israel.
Even Solomon himself wrote in Proverbs the troubles women can creat.
All we can say, do you read what you write Solomon?
Talk about not walking the talk.
Thank you.
Amen
Like most Eastern Philosophies, Confucius had much Wisdom, but little Vision. He had some wisdom of the human condition, but no understanding of WHY it was true.
For Vision, one must see past the Hall of Mirrors that humanity is trapped in (universe) that requires intervention from outside the illusion (God Reaching In)
So true, and thanks.
I liked that.
God bless
Peace be with You
"Those who forget the past, will inevitably repeat the same mistakes of those in the past over and over again"
The people pulling those social shenanigans don't view it as mistake.
That, for example, universal suffrage. This is a bad thing. Truly bad. But all of our elected peeps tell us universal suffrage is a sacred good thing that must be protected.
Some of them know history, and intend to repeat it.
Or the physicist, the closer we look, the more it disappears.
The wise men were tipped off about Herod.
Herod was quite interested in learning something new, which is exactly why the wise men were warned to return home by another way.
Like when websites block the content until the visitor accepts cookies, often the claim being “to improve your experience on this site.”
What website did that?
Mine is a plain blogspot
That was just a generic example of the type of “friendly” wording that appears on many websites wrt cookie acceptance.
As in, we just want you to be able to experience all the benefits our site has to offer. Sounds so nice, but more like we want to know everything about your habits because there’s big money in selling the data.
For some, “the more we know” becomes a license to abuse by way of that knowledge, or like with Herod a ploy to kill off a threat, which paradoxically demonstrates that they know nothing.
Like the saying, “If they knew what they were doing, they wouldn’t do that.” Reminds me of
Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
Aww, I comprende.
I agree, by the way.
Thanks
