The Mammuthus primigenius was there long before humans and they are really pissed at being slighted. How specieist of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi to not honor the culture and history of these first real Indiana natives.

Notre Dame needs to honor Native Americans properly by turning off the electricity to the university—and keeping it off.

Hold classes in teepees all winter long!

And if Columbus had never “sailed the Ocean Blue,” the New World would have still been found by Pedro Cabral of Portugal.

Perhaps the American Indians wish the New World had first been colonized by the Chinese as they may have mapped part of it in the ancient past.

Those Indians provided a wonderful score for Last of the Mohicans. I especially like Promontory.

Let’s give Minneapolis back to the Indians then. They can kick all the locks out.

Southern Michigan has a huge heritage from the Pokagon Band. There is a Pokagon State Park in Angola, Indiana. As a child Pokagon flavored pops were very popular in the area. All in all, sad to see Columbus in the dustbin at ND. I think they could have found a proper place for the new tapestry.
