It is a homosexual, not a pedophilia, problem. The use of the term pedophilia is part of the cover up. As a Catholic I neither condone nor want to cover it up. I want it exposed and removed, just like I want the crimes of the deep state exposed and punished rather than denouncing my US citizenship.
The recent problems with homosexual infiltration and abuse in the Church are that of sinful men who are going against Catholic teaching; it is not a problem of the nature of the Catholic Church itself. Protestant churches have the same problem. While I reject Protestantism, I do not trot out the open acceptance of homosexuality by many Protestant churches to bolster my position. I recognize that these people are going against the foundational teachings of Protestants, just as the homosexuals within the Catholic Church are going against the foundational teachings of the Catholic Church.
