It does use 9,mm which is hard to find.
.22 is still plentiful, but not as effective.
However, an empty gun does no one any good. The .22 can still at least wound.

Nothing wrong with a good .22 rifle (recommend the Ruger 10/22 with 25 round magazine) and a high quality pistol. Stockpile ammo for everything. It’s not bulky, expensive, ... to have 5k round for a .22. Just don’t go with lead nose ammo. Jacketed hollow points and A few subsonic.

With the majority support of the Roberts USSC, all the governors, mayors and a bevy of powerful unelected bureaucrats need to do this is to have a "good reason" ... a "good reason" they themselves determine and define and which is not challengeable or even debateable. As we have experienced periodically over the past nearly half year, your Constitutionally-protected rights and even your (formerly) "unalienable rights" may be suspended or revoked, in whole or in part, at any time and for any (usually undefined) length of time, solely and completely at the whim of any governor, of any mayor and/or of any well-positioned unelected bureaucrat ... and neither you nor, quite clearly, the federal government can or will do anything about it ... you'll just have to take it ... take it right up your arse.
This is what I see is the America/American-hating Democrat/Left Party's "doomsday scenario" ... and in their increasingly desperate state I expect they would do this in a heartbeat regardless of the consequences to itself, to American society, to our Constitution and to our Republic.
