Mission San Gabriel, just outside Los Angeles CA was about to observe its 250th anniversary. It is burned down now, it’s entire roof seared and gone - as of two weekends ago. People were not sure if it was an accident, or in conjunction with recent acts of vandalism, statue removals, and arson impacting churches throughout the country.

As it stands: a suspect as been detained today in an ongoing investigation barely getting any airplay in either local or national media.

LORD, have mercy. As this is just one story among many. As I write this, local governments across our state continue to vote to remove any trace of CA’s spiritual founding and religious legacy from monuments, seals, and documents.

LORD, please save California.

Dear Lord, in these times of hate, chaos and assault upon the church, Your Word, may people be shaken awake. May those who deny the centuries old spiritual war finally understand the severity and consequences of Christian persecution.

We ask for shelter in Your Wings. We ask that the sleeping will wake to know that You are Almighty and Sovereign Lord.
