(CATH CAUCUS) Vatican Publishes Instructions on Parish Reform and Diocesan Restructuring

Signed by Pope Francis June 29, the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, the instruction promotes greater cooperation among different parish communities, emphasizing the need for the parish to be inclusive, evangelizing, and attentive to the poor.

The Vatican’s Congregation for Clergy published instructions Monday on reforming parishes and restructuring dioceses to better serve their “singular mission of evangelization.”

The 24-page document is called “The pastoral conversion of the parish community in the service of the evangelizing mission of the Church” and seeks to “foster a greater co-responsibility and collaboration among all the baptised,” according to Mgr. Andrea Ripa, the under-secretary of the Congregation for the Clergy.

The under-secretary described the instructional document as an “instrument with which to support and accompany the various projects of parish reform and diocesan restructuring.”

“One could say that the essence of the present Instruction is to recall that in the Church ‘there is a place for all and all can find their place,’ with respect to each one’s vocation,” Msgr. Ripa said in an introduction to the document July 20.

The instruction, which does not introduce anything new to Church law, sets out provisions of the existing law and guidelines to preserve “the faithful from certain possible extremes, such as the clericalization of the laity and the secularization of the clergy, or from regarding permanent deacons as ‘half-priests’ or a ‘super laymen,’” the under-secretary wrote.

“At the heart of a process of renewal, instead of passively undergoing change by supporting and going along with it, there exists today the need to individuate new structures that will incite all those who make up the Christian community to fulfil their vocation to evangelize, with a view to a more effective pastoral care of the People of God, the ‘key factor’ of which is proximity,” it states.

Isn’t evangelization the same as proselytization? I thought Bergoglio declared that to be solemn nonsense?

Shadow-Boxing: Vatican Document Criticises [German] “Tax On Sacraments”

The text is full of Francis buzzwords like “listening to the Spirit," "new signs,” finding “new forms of accompaniment and closeness.” It writes that parishes shouldn't be closed due to lack of priests or money - although this happens all the time and will happen further. The document is aware of this, therefore it says that the grouping [= closing] of parishes is to be decided by the bishop on Francis’ famous “case-by-case basis.”

No they’re not the same. Evangelization need not include persuasion, apologetics or debate.

RE Your comments on evangelicalization the same as proselytization

The very least Francis could be doing is raising theological questions on the assertions made in the Islamic codex (which is their code of observance and behavior) known as Sharia, Beginning with this question
http://www.theusmat.com/islamandfreewill.htm
Plays with suppressors of the faith

Francis continuing destructive confusing pontificating on temporal worldly social behavior, which has nothing to do with and avoids articles of faith and morals rebukes or restrains contemplative religious orders to favor such behavior .

By refusing to question and expound on the profound differences with the claims made by Islam and its followers Reaching out to and defend what Judeo/Christian beliefs are.Or challenge claims that Islamist make they are following God’s command using deceit and deception when ruthlessly murdering and torturing non believers and destroy their edifice .Smply because of its assertion of being monotheistic. Then winds up making a point of honoring it and placing it on an equal level because of that claim. Is leading to misguided conversions which is the result of my so called Pope playing games with this so called mono theistic cult and is creating a serious fracture within Christianity and The Roman Rite .

Evangelization need not include persuasion, apologetics or debate.

All of which Jesus Christ and the Catholic missionary martyr-saints were guilty of and gave their lives for.

Even Bergoglio's namesake, St Francis of Assisi, was guilty of proselytism to the muslims; instead of signing joint declarations with them of God willing multiple religions.

Antioch, today evangelazation simply entails hosting Jeffery Sachs, UN officials, James Martin S.J., Joe Biden, etc. to such social conferences on global warming, socialism; i.e, universal wages and universal health care, universal disarmanent, LGBT equality, open borders etc.

Can someone translate that into English please?

Oh, I forgot.

Evangelization also includes worshiping the pagan goddess, Pachamama, over the tomb of St Peter’s grave within the very Basilica dedicated to him.

Men in the Church suck. The Church itself id perfectly of Christ. We must put up with these insufferable donkies along the way, taking our punishment from their horrid behavior along the way. Such is sin after the fall.

With all the mass delusion and mass possession that’s going on today, you would think that the rock of St. Peter would hold fast and the pope would be a major counterforce to the neocommunist revival. But Bergoglio is not only silent, he’s a part of it. How can this not be the coming chastisement?
