Remember, there’s no time-clock ticking that we can discern during this current 2000-year dispensation of grace among the gentiles (”no man knows the day or the hour”) but we do know “the times and the seasons”, and as Children of Light, we should be aware the end of the age is very near. Certain signs like the third temple, tell us the end is very near.

But prophetic days and hours are reserved for God’s salvation of Israel which is coming soon. Daniels’ seventieth week, the seven-year horrific tribulation, will begin the day Jesus takes his own out of here along with the Holy Spirit. Party in Heaven but “Woe to them that dwell on the earth.” The irony for Israel will be that they will both be saved and suffer “Jacob’s trouble” - more trouble ever seen - worse than the Holocaust.

You’re right, there is no time clock ticking that the Body of Christ can use to discern this dispensation of grace coming to an end and the tribulation thus beginning. The dispensation of the GRACE of GOD will continue until the last believer comes into the Body. At that time the Body is complete and there is no reason for us to remain on earth. Our inheritance is heavenly, not earthly like Israel. THEY will be witnesses during the Tribulation, not us. Our Commission has been fulfilled, the Body of Christ is complete and God will once again deal with Israel and His covenant with her. THAT is what the Tribulation is all about. Why some believe that the Body of Christ will go through the Tribulation is beyond me.

I don’t think it is correct to say we know the times and seasons. Paul said he did not need to write the Thessalonians about times and seasons, but that is because the Day of the Lord comes like a thief:

1 Thessalonians 5:1-10 (NKJV)
But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

Consider this passage:

Acts 1:7 (NKJV)
And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.”

We do not know the day, hour, time, or season. We have been given signs that are contained in the Olivet Discourse, among other passages.
